Webinar on demand: A Day in the Life of a Former NASA SOC Shift Lead
SOC analysts are usually the first line of defense against threats like ransomware that can cause real and lasting damage to an organization. They work tirelessly to stay one step ahead of these increasingly sophisticated attacks and with a growing talent gap, they are often forced to do more with less. So what does that look like, day-to-day?
In this webinar with former NASA SOC shift lead K.O. Orias, we walk through the day in the life of a SOC analyst, and answer questions including:
- How SOCs and SOC analysts fit into a larger security organization
- The top focuses and responsibilities of a SOC analyst
- Common SOC analyst pain points and how AI is making everyone else’s job easier, but their job harder
- SOC maturity levels, common plateaus, and how to improve your security program
- How the right security stack can address those challenges
