Join us for a comprehensive 2-day workshop on Cisco Secure Access, a converged cloud security service edge (SSE) solution. The workshop is tailored for IT professionals who seek to enhance their Cisco cloud security capabilities. This workshop starts with the evolution of remote access, including VPN, SASE, and SSE, and introduces the fundamentals of Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA). You will gain hands-on experience in configuring, managing, and operating Cisco Secure Access solutions across a variety of scenarios — from secure internet and private access to user authentication and user posturing. By the end of the workshop, you will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to implement and operate Cisco Secure Access effectively within your customer’s organization.

Agenda:

Day 1: Tuesday, February 25th
Provides a comprehensive introduction to Cisco Secure Access, exploring its evolution, key concepts like SSE and ZTNA, and various use cases for secure Internet and private access. You will learn about the solution architecture, configuration essentials, security controls, and AI-driven assistant and workflows. Hands-on labs will guide attendees through configuring application connectivity for different application types, user provisioning, user authentication processes, and traffic acquisition methods for both remote user-based and branch-based scenarios.

Attendees will engage in practical labs to configure and test access policies and posture settings in various scenarios, accessing different applications. The session will conclude with an overview of Experience Insights, which provides visibility into user digital experience using Cisco’s integrated tools and technologies, such as ThousandEyes.
